Big Congrats to  Mike Remige who has been hired to manage the new
Jennette's Pier for the NC Aquariums. Mike will take over with his new role on July 12th. Mike reports in the future he'd like to see the pier be a premier venue for surf contests. Mike was a big help to SurfKDH and the Outer Banks Pro a few years ago when we covered the event live from the old pier site.

In case everyone hasn't seen this already, Surfline released a pretty detailed prediction for the 2010 East Coast Hurricane Season based on NOAA's reports.  That article can be seen here: http://www.surfline.com/forecast/atlantic-hurricane-season_44001/
